Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the questions we hear most from Filipino homeowners and businesses considering solar.

How much does a solar system cost in the Philippines?
A typical residential solar system (3–5 kWp) costs between ₱150,000 and ₱300,000 all-in. We offer flexible financing options including ₱0 down payment plans, bank financing, and in-house installment.
How long does installation take?
Most residential installations are completed within 1–3 days. Commercial systems may take 1–2 weeks depending on size and complexity. We work efficiently to minimize disruption to your daily routine.
Is solar energy effective during the rainy season or cloudy days?
Yes! Solar panels still produce electricity on cloudy or rainy days — just at reduced output. The Philippines averages 4.5–5.5 peak sun hours daily throughout the year, making solar very effective even during the wet season.
Can solar panels withstand Philippine typhoons?
Absolutely. We use panels with wind load ratings of up to 2,400 Pa and mounting structures engineered for Philippine typhoon conditions. Our systems are designed to survive Signal 4 weather events.
What is the typical payback period?
Most of our residential clients achieve full payback in 4–7 years, with commercial systems often reaching payback in 3–5 years due to higher electricity consumption. After payback, the savings are pure profit for 20+ years.
Do you assist with net metering registration?
Yes — this is included in our service. We handle all documentation, coordinate with your distribution utility (Meralco, VECO, etc.), and accompany the inspection. Net metering can further reduce your bill to near-zero.
What warranties come with the solar system?
All our installations include: 25-year performance warranty on solar panels, 10-year product warranty on panels, 5–10 year warranty on inverters, 1–2 year workmanship warranty on installation, and 1 year free maintenance check.
